PHYSICIAN EDUCATION

MRSI distinguishes itself by providing unsurpassed education to emergency physicians regarding optimal documentation; this includes regular didactic sessions to practice physicians. MRSI’s coding Director, Dr. Michael Granovsky, is a nationally recognized ED coding expert. Importantly, MRSI strives to continually improve documentation by regularly returning hard copies of insufficiently documented records to individual physicians, along with an attached educational document outlining where documentation could have been improved. We find that regular specific feedback is very effective in optimizing and maintaining consistently complete documentation.
